Navid Faridi Leads Multiple Teams to Victory – Awarded Best Youth Coach of the Year 2025 (DOFA League – UAE)

In the 2024–2025 season, Coach Navid Faridi led an outstanding campaign across several youth age groups.

His academy teams achieved the following remarkable results:

  • 🏆 U10 – Champions
  • 🏆 U16 – Champions
  • 🥈 U13 – Runners-up

With two championship titles and one second-place finish, this historic achievement placed Faridi among the elite youth coaches in the UAE. His leadership, commitment, and winning mentality were officially recognized as he was named:

This honor reflects not only his success on the field, but also his impact on youth football development in the region.

اختتمت بنجاح كبير منافسات «بطولة دبي المفتوحة لأكاديميات كرة القدم»؛ الأكبر من نوعها التي نظمها مجلس دبي الرياضي بالتعاون مع اتحاد الإمارات لكرة القدم وشركة دلتا للفعاليات الرياضية الشريك التشغيلي للحدث وشركة انسبراتوس (ISD) مستضيف مباريات البطولة، التي أقيمت على ملاعب مدينة دبي الرياضية، وشارك فيها أكثر من 3000 لاعب ولاعبة من مختلف الجنسيات والفئات العمرية.

وتوج أحمد سالم مدير إدارة التطوير الرياضي بمجلس دبي الرياضي، وعمر اليبرودي المدير التنفيذي لقطاع الشؤون الفنية والمنتخبات باتحاد الإمارات لكرة القدم، الفرق الفائزة بالمراكز الأولى في جميع الفئات واللاعبين الفائزين بالألقاب الفردية، حيث فاز فريق فرسان إسبانيا بالمركز الأول في فئة تحت 18 سنة للدرجة الأولى، وفاز فريق النجمة الزرقاءمع مدرب نويد فريدي بالمركز الأول في الدرجة الثانية، وفي فئة تحت 16 سنة فاز فريق نادي سيتي بالمركز الأول في الدرجة الأولى، وفاز فريق لاليغا بالمركز الأول في الدرجة الثانية، وفاز فريق أيكونز بالمركز الأول في الدرجة الثالثة،، وفي بطولة الكأس تحت 16 سنة فاز فريق فرسان إسبانيا.

Al Najma Al Zarqaa Football Academy U-18 team with head coach Navid Faridi became the champion of The UAE federation league for Dubai Sport Council Academies 2022-23 in seconed division category and was able to rise to 1st division league
The league was hosted by dubai Sport council (DSC) and Dubai open for football academies (DOFA) in 6 months and different age categories were participated , All the teams were prepared and ready so strong and the level of the matches was advanced and professional.
Al Najma Al Zarqaa Football Academy U-18 team presented ready and passionate and all the team players goal was to be champions of 2022-2023 and get the cup to the club , which they really well done Thanks to all team member and their families and the coaches and management team who all put their best and tried hard, now they are the champions.

Navid Faridi CEO. Al Najma Al zarqaa F.C and football coach : In all years of one footballer’s life, not having training sessions for two or three months, is not so usual.

This strange and terrible event, which the Coronavirus caused, also made a lot of damage to the football clubs arounds the world .

It also barred spectators and football fans from seeing football matches.

And we will see more crisis in the future , specially the coming months. We will see matches held without the presence of spectators and fans of the teams ، This affects both the quality of the players’ play in the match and hurts the football clubs economically as well. We have to pass this problem together and we are not giving up.

And hope the world will gets better soon.

Asian football confederation B coaching course are held in Tehran . The course for coaches of premier league and And those who passed the Asian coaching course C . Some of professional and famous coach : Arash Borhani, Siyavash Akbarpour, Amirhossein Sadeghi, Hadi Mahdavi kia , Alireza Nikbakht vahedi, Alireza Abasfard , Navid Faridi and another coaches. Navid Faridi  has passed C coaching course In February 2017,with excellent degree and has been recommended for AFC B coaching course.

 

Navid Faridi singed a new contract For 2 years from first of July 2018 with Esteghlal.F.C.

Navid Faridi (born July 14, 1977, in Iran) is a professional football coach and former midfielder with over 30 years of experience in the sport. He currently holds an AFC A Coaching License and is the CEO and Head Coach of Al Najma Al Zarqaa Football Academy in Dubai.

Previously, he was a youth coach at Esteghlal F.C in premier league., one of Iran’s most prestigious clubs. In 2025, he was officially awarded the Best Youth Coach of the Year in the DOFA League UAE, in partnership with the UAE Sports Council and Football Federation.

He has been started his football playing when he was thirteen with the team Payam Tehran F.C.in 1990-1991 ( With the head coach Bahman  ranjbaran) and honored vice championship (runner-up) as well as championship of the league of the country.
